Training details

       F     Training changes people's knowledge, skills and mindset. BRDB has been working since its inception to transform the backward communities of rural Bengal into human resources through training. BRDB binds rural people into an organizational framework through cooperatives. Then the organized rural population is developed through training in various formal and informal processes such as cooperative management, participation in decision-making process, increasing capacity to express opinions, leadership development, income-generating and skill development training, literacy, use of modern agricultural technology, etc. Also, in the weekly meeting of the association/team, awareness is raised about various developmental activities of the government including health care, child nutrition, maternal health, birth control and reproductive health care, dowry, child marriage, evils of eviction, elimination of arsenic problem, installation and use of hygienic latrines etc.

BRDB provides various types of training to the beneficiary members for the development of rural human resources based on poverty alleviation and income generation activities as well as various types of training for officers/employees for proper implementation of rural development activities.F
